COMPETITION INVITATION

Venue of Competition: Hakametsä 2 (heated) address: Keltinkatu 2, Tampere, Finland

KOOVEE CUP 2017 will be conducted for invited clubs only in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations for Figure Skating as well as all pertinent ISU Communications for Figure Skating and the regulations and classification of the Finnish Skating Union.

Competition will be held in the following single skating categories and classes:

NOVICE A class born 1.7.2002 or later ISU

Short Program: Girls 2 min 20 sec (±10 sec) / Boys 2 min 20 sec (±10 sec) Free Program: Girls 3 min (±10 sec.) / Boys 3 min 30 sec (±10 sec)

The Organizer has the right to split categories into age groups, if the number of participants requires it.

The competition requirements(Finnish rules) will be published on our website in August. The Organizer has a right to split the categories in to age groups, if the number of participants requires it.

If the competitor fails to finish the program within the time limit, deductions shall be made according to the ISU regulations.

REGISTRATION OF ENTRIES: Please note that your contact information (e-Mail, phone) is on your entry form. Entries for competitors must be submitted by August 29th 2017 at the latest. Entries that are sent /received after the mentioned deadline will not be accepted. Entries can be sent by e-mail on the following address: kilpailusihteeri.koovee@gmail.com

ENTRY FEE:. Novice A 90e/skaters (SP+FP) for ISU skaters.

Entry fee will be invoiced upon preliminary registration (i.e. right after

you have received a confirmation on participation) Entry fees are not refunded. Only cancellations verified by medical certificate (delivered latest 20.9.2017) will be refunded.

Teams should inform of any changes in their team as soon as

AWARDING Three first standings of each category/class will be awarded with a cup.

PROTESTS Each team has the right to submit protest against the judges’ decision. Protests must be submitted to the Referee of the relevant event at the latest immediately after the event. Upon the submission of the protest a protest fee of 30 EUR must be paid. The referee’s decision is final. In the new ISU judging systems no protests can be filed against the judges, but against the right determination of the executed element.

MUSIC will be played from a CD-player. Discs must be normal CD’s, not RW-discs. Music equipped with the full name of the competitor, club and category must be submitted to the announcers’ desk before the relevant event and picked up from the same place after the event.

PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT All ISU competitors are asked to send their planned elements by e-mail to kilpailusihteeri.koovee@gmail.com by 6.9.2017 at the latest. The Sheet must be completed in English using the terminology listed in ISU Communication 1494 or any update.

DRAW: The official draw will be on Monday 11h of September 2017. The result will be published on the official web page of the competition at latest on the same day.

JUDGING: Skaters are judged by using the ISU judging system. The organizer will invite the judges and pay their expenses.

EXPENSES: The Organizer does not pay any expenses of the teams. Travel expenses, board and accommodation will be borne by the participants.
